With over 600 bhp, the 2.6 litre twin turbo six, Gibson Motorsport R32 GTR took out the Australian Touring Car Championship in ‘90 and ‘91.
'Godzilla’ holds the record for the fastest ever full-distance race record and win at the 1991 Bathurst 1000. The following season, utilising its all paw grip, GTR dominated Bathurst again with a second victory in the wet. In 1993, with Group 3A regulations banning boosted cars aiding the local manufacturers, GTR was banished to the pages of Aussie motorsport history.
